We rely upon the generosity of people such as yourself! Thanks for your support.
Below are some ways that you are able to financially support us
Hide yourself in God, so when a man wants to
find you he will have to go there first.
Every Sunday we meet together as a community, encourage each other in our faith and celebrate God and what he has done for us through his son, Jesus. This involves some singing, announcements of upcoming events and a spoken message from the scripture, usually running for around 70 minutes in total. Our teaching is Bible-focussed and intended to challenge, strengthen and help you in your faith. Services take place in the main auditorium, followed by some time in the cafe area with tea, coffee, and light snacks.
Yokine Baptist Church is a place for kids, too! During the school term, we have programs for toddlers (ages 3-5) as well as for primary school children that run during the Sunday service. For mums and dads with babies, we have a ‘Cry Room’ so you can still be part of the service. Everyone is welcome!
We know that visiting a new Church and meeting lots of new people can be a bit overwhelming, so we make it as easy as we can. You'll be greeted at the door and shown where you can get settled. We have a diverse group in our Church who are in vastly different place on their faith journey, and our mission is the same. We seek to welcome you, encourage you, and nurture a longing in you to know our Creator more each day.
If you enjoy your time with us and would like to connect more, we can also put you in touch with small groups that we run regularly, matching you wit other people in the same life and faith stage as you.
We also hold Church Services for special events such as Easter and Christmas, so be sure to check out our website around these times for more information.
Our weekly time of worship and fellowship
It's been our pleasure serving the community of Yokine and to still have some of it's founding members in our congregation. Our heart is for the people of Yokine, and we will continue to serve those around us for many years to come.
